Notes
Toast the bread just before assembling the sandwich. It will make sure that your sandwich stays crispy, crunchy, and warm. Club sandwich tastes best when served warm.
Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutesto an hour in the refrigerator. You can marinate it for up to 2 hours. This makes the chicken soft and juicy.
While grilling the chicken, make sure the chicken gets some char marks while getting cooked. It will give a nice smoky flavor to the chicken.
Once the chicken is cooked. Cover and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing it. It helps the chicken juices to redistribute themselves back to the meat. As a result, you get moist chicken pieces.
Mayonnaise has salt in it. Be careful while adding salt to the recipe.
For meal prep - Cook the chicken in advance. Let it cool down completely. Transfer it to an airtight container and store it in the refrigerator. Stays good for 2 days. Reheat and use it.
