2cupsChana dal (Split chickpeas or bengal gram)
1teaspooncumin(jeera)
1-inchginger(adrak)
1green chili(hari mirchi)
1small onion(pyaz)
ΒΌcupcoriander leaves(hari dhaniya)
Salt
2tablespoonrice flour
1spring curry leavesroughly chopped
oil to deep fry

Soak chana dal in plenty of water for 4 hours. Drain off the water.
Making the vada
Grind dal with cumin, ginger & green chilies to a coarse paste.
Transfer the coarse ground dal mixture to a mixing bowl.
